SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – One man has been arrested after he was accused of accepting payment for a job he never even started.

State Police say they arrested Greg Brisk, 37, for Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree.

According to authorities, Brisk agreed to replace a roof and accepted $4,900 as payment but never started the job.

The complainant allegedly tried to contact Brisk a number of times but says Brisk refused to replace the roof or return the money.

Police say Brisk was using the business name "BRISK GCR LLC."

If anyone else has a similar complaint they are encouraged to contact NY State Police Investigators at 630-1712.
