SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -
Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews are set to
headline the annual Farm Aid festival at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday.
Farm Aid, which sold out of all 25,000 available tickets for the 2013 festival, is an all-day family farm benefit festival scheduled for this Saturday, Sept.
21st, at SPAC in Saratoga Springs.
Farm Aid 2013 will feature Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds, as well as Jack Johnson, Amos Lee, Kacey Musgraves, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Bahamas, JD & The Straight Shot, Carlene Carter, Pegi Young & The Survivors, and The Blackwood Quartet.
The event is an all-day music and food festival featuring Homegrown Concessions and Farm Aid's Homegrown Village.
The concert benefits and promotes Farm Aid's mission to keep family farmers on the land, strengthen and revitalize America's food system, and support the growth of the Good Food Movement — the growing number of people seeking local, organic, humanely raised and family farm-identified food.
