S.C. woman arrested in Cobleskill charged with 20 felonies

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – State Police in Cobleskill have arrested a South Carolina resident for alleged crimes throughout the Schoharie Valley Region.

On September 16, 2013 State Police arrested Eleanor Black, 33, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. for 20 felonies. 

Troopers charged Black with one count of Grand Larceny 3rd, a D felony, seven counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd, a D felony, six counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st , an E felony,  and six counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st , an E felony. 

The charges are the result of a lengthy investigation by State Police that began in September of 2012.  The crimes were committed in various jurisdictions throughout the Schoharie Valley Region. 

Black was arraigned on the charges and is due back in the Town of Esperance Court at a later date.
