ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany's Palace Theatre is getting ready for the 2013-2014 season, and for the second year in a row the theatre is increasing its number of shows.
They include comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Maher, pop phenom group The Jonas Brothers, Opera singer David Rigeschi and several Broadway shows.
Organizers say it's all about having a large mix of choices.
"We're bringing in some Broadway shows, one night plays. We've got, you know, some great.
We've got an opera performance coming in. So we're really diversifying our programming this year," said Executive Director Holly Brown.
The theatre will also celebrate Black History month with three special productions in February, including the play, "I have a dream."
