Two Selkirk residents arrested in connection to burglary of prescription medications

COEYMANS, N.Y. -- Coeymans Police have arrested two individuals as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary which occurred on September 7th

Last week, police arrested Allen Swart in connection with the burglary and the theft of prescription medications.  On Tuesday, they arrested Tammy Tucker, 49, and Joseph Tucker, 19, both of Selkirk on narcotics related charges.

Both Tuckers were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd-degree, criminal possession of stolen property 5th-degree and unlawful possession of marihuana.

During the course of the investigation into the burglary, police discovered that both Tucker's had possession of narcotics stolen in the burglary.

The two were arraigned and remanded To Albany County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. They are due to return to Coeymans Town Court on Thursday September 19th for a preliminary hearing.
