Police locate missing Glenville man

*UPDATE 9/17: Glenville Police say David Coon has been located and the missing person case has been resolved*

GLENVILLE, N.Y. - The Glenville Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding 42-year-old David Coon who was last seen the morning of May 21, 2013.

Police say Coon apparently left his residence, at 2 Lavant Lane in Glenville, on foot and has not been seen or heard from since. He has relatives and connections in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area who recently contacted local police.

Police say he was prone to "wander off for periods of time" but would always return. When no family members in New Mexico had heard from him they called police. They say he may have been despondent at the time of his disappearance.

Coon was last seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He is described as a white male, 5'10", 180lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Glenville Police are asking if anyone has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts to call us at 384-3444.
