Five arrested in Rutland for drug trafficking


RUTLAND, Vt. – Five people have been indicted on drug trafficking charges.

On Thursday, federal, state, and local authorities arrested five Rutland residents.

Ernest Murray, 51, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin, cocaine, and 28 grams or more of crack cocaine; and distribution of crack cocaine.

Eric Dixon, 44, and Terrence Chenault, 30, face several counts each of distribution of crack cocaine and/or heroin.

Andrew Harris, 24, faces the charge of distribution of heroin.

Morgaine Chuderski, 25, has been charged with distribution of crack cocaine .

All defendants have pleaded not guilty
