ALBANY, N.Y. - Christopher Porco's appeal claiming ineffective counsel has been denied by an appeals court in New York.
This was the latest attempt by Porco, 30, to get a new hearing on his murder conviction. The appeal claimed that Albany Attorney Terence Kindlon, failed to properly represent Porco. The Appellate Division rejected the claim on Wednesday.
Porco is serving 46 years to life in State Prison for the murder of his father, Peter Porco, and injury of his mother, Joan Porco. He was convicted on the crime in 2006.
