KINGSBURY, N.Y. - The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested a Kingsbury man on Sunday for allegedly driving drunk after he was seen falling out of his vehicle, highly intoxicated.
The Sheriff's Office says 41-year-old Richard Laferriere was arrested and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI after they received a call around 5 p.m. from a woman familiar with Laferriere reporting the incident.
Officials say the woman took the keys from the ignition and called law enforcement shortly after.
Upon further investigation, officials say it was determined Laferriere had in fact driven the car to the location and failed multiple sobriety tests, with a .39 percent BAC.
He was transported to Glens Falls Hospital for evaluation due to his high blood alcohol content and is due in Kingsbury Court at a later date.
