County route 107 paving project scheduled to start Thursday

BROADALBIN, N.Y. – A paving project on a County Route in Fulton County will begin on Friday.

According to the Fulton County Office of Highways and Facilities, they will begin paving County Route 107 between State Route 30 and County Route 126.  This stretch of road includes Broadalbin-Perth Intermediate and Middle Schools.

On Thursday, September 5, paving will be on the Route 126 end of Route 107 as it is the first day of school.

On Friday, the office will begin to pave in front of the school.  However, steps will be taken to ensure student pick-up and drop-off procedures do not change.

The school district does not expect delays to be caused by the paving project, but if it does happen, they say they will post to their website, Facebook page, Twitter account, and School News Notifier.
