BETHLEHEM, N.Y. -- The man accused of holding up a Slingerlands bank two weeks ago was arraigned on felony charges in Bethlehem Town Court Tuesday night.
Victor Shear is charged with Robbery
in the 1st degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th degree after he was arrested in South Carolina a few days after the robbery at the Trustco Bank on Route 85 in Slingerlands.
Surveillance images from the bank showed a suspect dressed like a construction worker.
Before shear's arrest, police took an Amsterdam man into custody, accusing him of tipping off shear about the search for him.
Shear was remanded to Albany County Jail without bail.
