Vermont's Operation Sober Summer sees fewer fatalities compared to 2012

VERMONT – Throughout the state of Vermont, "Operation Sober Summer" was performed by State Police.

The department says they have increased efforts to reduce crashes and pull over impaired drivers.

They say, through September 2, 2013, there were 46 deaths in 42 separate crashes in the state.  This number is down from last year, when there were 57 fatalities.
