NEW LEBANON, N.Y. --The animal control officer handling the case of Kobe the missing alligator says they are now working under the assumption that the reptile was stolen.
Kobe has been missing since August 22nd when his owner put him in a temporary cage while she cleaned his permanent one.
She said it's something she's done hundreds of times, so it seemed odd that he finally found his way out.
There is now a $700 reward for Kobe's safe return.
