ALBANY, N.Y. – The New York State Department of Transportation has announced Interstate 88 road closures starting on Tuesday.
The portion of I88 westbound between Exit 25 Rotterdam and Exit 24 Duanesburg in Schenectady County will be closed to traffic starting on Tuesday, September 3. The westbound interstate closure will occur every day of the week, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is necessary for removal of the bridge carrying County Road 66, Birchwood Drive, over I-88.
Single lane closures in the eastbound and westbound directions will begin at 7 a.m. each day. A signed detour will direct traffic to use Route 7.
