AMSTERDAM, N.Y. – The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office
says an Amsterdam man was arrested for Grand Larceny this week.
Thirty-two year old John Vigil Bottomley is accused of
shoplifting from Wal-Mart. Police say
surveillance footage showed Bottomley stole $2,000 worth of merchandise over
the period of a month.
He was arraigned Thursday and was sent to the Montgomery County
Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
Bottomley has been arrested in the past for Petit Larceny
and Asset Protection.
