Police investigating Albany burglary


ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Elberon Place.

On Tuesday August 27 at about 10: 45 a.m., officers responded to the 40 block of Elberon Place for a report of a burglary. When they arrived, the victim told officers that on Monday, August 26th at approximately 1:00 a.m., three male suspects entered their apartment armed with a handgun and ordered them to the ground.

During the course of the incident, the suspects fired two shots while inside the home, one into the ceiling, the other into a washing machine.

All three victims were able to retreat and the suspects fled the scene without taking any items. No injuries were reported during the incident.

All three suspects are described as black males in their 20's. Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Detective Division at (518) 462-8039.
