ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man has been arrested after police say he threatened a female acquaintance and her small child with a box cutter while holding them against their will.
Police say it all started when Scott Miller, Jr. broke into the victims' home in South Glens Falls back on August 20th.
Police say he threatened to kill her and her child if either of them made any noise and even held a pillow over the victim's face. The child was not hurt.
The ordeal lasted more than five hours until Miller took off with the woman's vehicle and cell phones. He was arrested when Verizon tracked those phones, leading police right to him.
