Arrest made in 2008 Whitesboro HS bomb threat

WHITESBORO, N.Y. – The New York State Police in Marcy have made an arrest in connection to a bomb threat made at Whitesboro High School in 2008.

22-year-old Kaytie Yager of Whitesboro was arrested Sunday and charged with falsely reporting an incident in the first degree. She was a student at the school at the time of the threat.

State Police were notified of a bomb threat at Whitesboro High School on October 7, 2008. Police conducted searches but no explosive or suspicious devices were found in or around the building. An investigation into the source of the threat was conducted immediately; however, the case remained unsolved at the time.

Yager was arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court and released after posting $800 cash bail.
