SCHODACK, N.Y. – A truck fire in the town of Schodack is being investigated by State Police.
Authorities say that a rental truck carrying copy machines began smoking while on I-90 eastbound on Thursday. A passing motorist had to flag the driver, who was unaware of smoke coming from the back of the truck.
The driver pulled over and the truck fire became fully involved, according to State Police.
I-90 was closed for a short period of time Thursday morning between exits 11 and 12, but it has been reopened.
