CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - A total of $2.4 million has been invested towards repaving town roads and other projects in Clifton Park, over the last year.
The Clifton Park Town Board met on Monday to invest $500,000 for paving in 2013.
On top of repaving town roads, the money is being used to improve drainage and maintain sewer systems. The town board has stated these actions are to ensure the town's infrastructure is complete.
The roads that have been benefited include Moe, Ashdown, Barney and Clifton Country Roads.
Work has taken place throughout the summer and will continue into the fall.
Sewer lines have been replaced at Twilight Drive, Barney and South Barney Roads, and Valencia Lane. This project was budgeted in 2013 for capital improvements.
