SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Schenectady Police Department responded to calls for shots fired in the area of Crane Street and Sixth Avenue Tuesday night.
Responding officers located a male in front of 1110 Sixth Ave. who had been shot two times in the abdomen area. The male was treated on the scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and was transported to Albany Medical Center. His injuries were not considered life threatening.
Police said it was unclear what exactly happened, and the incident is being investigated by members of the Schenectady Police Department's Detective Division.
