Overnight fire displaces family of four in Albany


ALBANY, N.Y. – There was an overnight fire in Albany which displaced a family.

Firefighters responded to 14 Carroll Terrace in Albany shortly after 12:30AM on Sunday.

Authorities say the fire started in an upstairs bedroom, where most of the damage is located.  They rest of the house however, has smoke and water damage.

The family of four was able to escape without any injuries.  They are currently being aided by the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  They do not believe it is suspicious.
