GALWAY, N.Y. - A motorcycle driver has been hospitalized after she failed to yield the right of way in the Town of Galway.

Thursday afternoon, 61 year old Christine McCormack was driving her motorcycle, exiting a Stewart's parking lot onto Route 29.  McCormack failed to yield the right of way to 70 year old Thomas Campanile, who was driving a Ford car.

Campanile's vehicle struck McCormack, ejecting her from her motorcycle and leaving her with serious injuries.  She was transported to Albany Medical Center via Life Net.  Campanile was not injured in the accident.

McCormack has been ticketed.  The Saratoga County Sheriff's Department investigated in the accident.
