Girl, 16, missing in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Schenectady Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 16-year old.

Alyssa M. Jamacy, 16, was last seen at 5 Elbert St. on Saturday August 10th during the day. She left her residence after having an argument with her legal guardian and has not been seen since.

Jamacy sent her guardian a text message on Monday August 12, 2013 in the early morning hours, stating that she was fine and happy living on her own. She is known to frequent the McDonald's on State St, the Central Park area, and also has friends in Troy, NY.

As of Firday morning, Jamacy is still missing.  Anyone with any information regarding the missing female is asked to contact the Schenectady Police Department at 518-486-0894.
