Six-story hotel proposed in Lake George

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. - A new, six-story hotel may be coming to the village of Lake George.

The plans were released Thursday morning by developer Dave Kenny.

Drawings and site plans for the new hotel, which would be located on the village's main street, show a large conference center will be included on the new property.  The site is also expected to hold retail shops and a restaurant.  However, the plans still need approval from the Village's Planning Board and the Adirondack Park Agency.

Kenny is the owner of Erlowest Resort, the Clarion Hotel, out malls and Marine Village Motel.  He proposed the idea shortly after the Lake George approved new height regulations for buildings.
