ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred on Manning Boulevard on Saturday night.
On Saturday around 10:30 p.m., officers monitoring large groups on the 700 block of Manning Boulevard heard and responded to several shots being fired. While investigating, officers were dispatched to the Arbor Hill firehouse on Manning Boulevard for a person who walked in with gunshot wounds.
The victim, a 19-year-old male from Albany, sustained two gunshot wounds to the neck. He was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, the Albany Police Department says a 29-year-old Cohoes female was also injured during the incident.
The female told officers that while sitting in the driver's seat of her vehicle she heard several shots being fired and that the driver's side window of her vehicle then shattered. The shattered glass struck her causing her to sustain a minor laceration to her face.
The investigation is still ongoing.
