HYDE PARK, Vt. -- The Vermont sex offender who originally planned to move to California after serving a prison term for child sex assault has a new home in Vermont.

It was revealed Wednesday that 53-year old Timothy Szad is living in with a member of his prison's ministry, at a home in Hyde Park, northeast of Burlington.

Local police say Szad has developed a plan to rehabilitate himself by continuing with the ministry and will talk with police daily.

As for concerns he might re-offend, police say to keep in mind that Szad has served his time.
