SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Several events will take place Saturday to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first organized four-day race meeting in Saratoga Springs.

Fans that attend races Saturday will receive a free commemorative Saratoga Sesquicentennial poster featuring legendary figures from the past 150 years at Saratoga.
The day will be highlighted by the first in a series of five $15,000 win-wager opportunities, courtesy of Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson, honorary chairs of the Saratoga 150 committee. Registration for the four remaining drawings can be made HERE.
A birthday cake of sorts will be designed by Buddy Valastro, Jr. of Carlo's Bakery, the setting of the popular T.V. show "Cake Boss."
