SJCC will attempt to set new world record

NISKAYUNA, N.Y. – The Schenectady Jewish Community Center is inviting the community to join campers, counselors and staff Tuesday, when they will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for most consecutively rolled car tires.

To break the current record of 299, which was set in Australia in 2011, Mark Weintraub, executive director of the SJCC, is hoping that more than 350 participants will attend, rolling one tire 100 meters each.

Anyone who would like to join in on the attempt to break the current record should wear sneakers and arrive at the SJCC at 9:30 a.m.
