TROY, N.Y. -- An arrest has been made in Thursday's Troy exposure incident where a man approached a woman, exposing his genitals.

Jeffery Ruszkowski, 27 of Latham, was arrested and charged with Public Lewdness and Harassment in the 2nd degree.

According to police, an adult female walking in the alley of 103rd Street was approached by Ruszkowsk driving a black Toyota Camry. He allegedly reached out to touch the female and as he did so the witness was able to see that the male's pants were down and his genitals were fully exposed. The suspect then fled the area.

Using the LAWMAN System technology provided by ACAC, a database of thousands of vehicles and potential suspects was whittled down to one. Detectives located the suspect and the arrest was made shortly thereafter.

Police say initial concerns of an attempt by the suspect to abduct the victim appear to be unfounded.

Ruszkowski was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear for arraignment on Monday, August 1st at 9 a.m.
