SCOTIA, N.Y. – Two Massachusetts Air National Guard F-15 fighters will make a low pass over the village at approximately 10 a.m. Wednesday.
As part of a regularly-scheduled training mission, the aircrafts of 104th Fighter Wing in Westfield, Mass., will be passing by Stratton Air National Guard Base so that 220 Civil Air Patrol Cadets from New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Massachusetts who are taking part in their annual encampment at the base can see the planes.
The Civil Air Patrol is the U.S. Air Force's
civilian volunteer auxiliary. The Cadet program is aimed at teaching leadership
and airmanship skills to youth ages 12 to 21.
