Schodack woman arrested for drugs after a traffic stop


KINDERHOOK, N.Y. -- A traffic stop on Bishop Nelson Road led to the arrest of 20-year-old Alysha Narzynski, of Schodack, just before 3 p.m. Saturday.

State Police stopped Narzynski for failure to stop for a stop sign and during the traffic stop, when they discovered she was in possession of a schedule two controlled substance, which was outside its original container, as well as marijuana. 

She was charged with controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance outside its original container and unlawful possession of marijuana and is scheduled to return to the Town of Kinderhook Court at 6 p.m. on July 30.
