QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – The Warren County Sheriff's Office arrested April J. Duggan, of Kingsbury, on grand larceny charges after an investigation into a report from the Warren County Department of Social Services that she had failed to report moving out of Warren County while continuing to collect Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

The complaint alleged that while Duggan, 35, was receiving SNAP benefits from Warren County, she failed to report that she had moved to Washington County. After moving, she is alleged to have continued to use her EBT card to obtain SNAP benefits through Warren County to obtain $1,052 in SNAP benefits, which she was no longer entitled to receive.

Duggan was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in Queensbury Town Court on July 8 to answer the charge.
