ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple is reminding residents of ways to prepare and stay safe in hot temperatures.
The National Weather Service is forecasting high heat with daily high temperatures exceeding 90 degrees through at least Friday. Work outdoors should be limited as much as possible. Heat exhaustion can occur with as little as an hour's worth of activity in extreme heat. Prepare by staying well hydrated and nourished during this activity.
