VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. – Participants of the 29th Annual Center for Disability Services Golf Classic will welcome former New York Yankees first baseman and hitting coach, Chris Chambliss, for a day of golf, contests and dinner.
Chambliss, who has worn a Yankee uniform twice as a player and four times as a coach in the last six Yankee World Series Championship seasons, will play a hole with each foursome, as well as sign autographs and pose for photos before the Pro-Am Golf Classic tournament's shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Albany Country Club.
The event includes lunch, Pro/Am format golf with the Northeast New York Professional Golfers Association, hole contests and prizes, and on-course catering. Participants will also have the chance to partake in a question and answer session with Chambliss Monday evening, before enjoying cocktails and dinner.
The Golf Classic, presented by SEFCU, benefits the Center for Disability Services Foundation, Inc.
