DUANESBURG, N.Y – Police say that 32-year-old Randy M. Doviak, of Kimball, Michigan, was en route to the Camp Bisco Music Festival in Mariaville for a drug delivery when he was pulled over for texting while driving.

During the traffic stop, police discovered concentrated cannabis (Hash) and marijuana in Doviak's car. Police said that while questioning Doviak, he admitted to leaving his two sons, ages 8 and 13, unattended at the Holiday Inn hotel on Nott Terrace in Schenectady while he went to Camp Bisco to deliver the drugs.

Troopers immediately went to check on the welfare of the children who were located in the hotel room with additional Hash and marijuana. Police said both children were in fine health and Child Protective Services was contacted and made arrangements for their care.

Doviak was charged with two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Criminal Possession of Marijuana and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

He was arraigned in the Town of Duanesburg Court and remanded to Schenectady County Jail without bail.
