State Police make three narcotics arrests in Malta

MALTA, N.Y. – State Police in Saratoga County arrested three men in possession of illegal narcotics following traffic stops Friday evening.

Geoffrey Haller and Cody Burns, both 22 from Rochester, NY, were stopped for a traffic infraction on Route 9 in Malta. Following investigation, troopers discovered that Haller, the driver, was in possession of numerous narcotic prescription medications. He was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Ketamine, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Narcotics with intent to sell, and five counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

Burns, the passenger, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Hallucinogenic MDMA, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd with intent to sell Narcotics, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Hash. 

Andrew Martin, 28, of Orlando, FL, was also stopped for a traffic infraction on Route 9 in Malta. He was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd with intent to sell Narcotics, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th  with intent to sell a Stimulant, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th. Martin was found to be in possession of LSD, also referred to as "Acid," in a powder form and in a candy form. 

All three men were arraigned in Ballston Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail.
