SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Police have identified the human remains found in a vacant lot near 3042 Albany Street Sunday as Mary Wright, the woman who was reported missing after wandering from her Schenectady home the morning of June 28th.
An autopsy was completed at Ellis Hospital Sunday, but the cause of death could not be determined. Police did say that it did not appear as though foul play had been involved. The exact time of death could not be determined.
Police discovered 68-year-old Wright's body just three-quarters of a mile from her home on Queens Drive, after a neighbor called to report an odor coming from a nearby residence.
