SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Saratoga Springs Police Department is investigating an armed robbery they say occurred at the CVS Pharmacy early Tuesday morning.
Police say around 12:50 a.m. a male suspect entered the CVS on Congress Street, approached the pharmacy counter, displayed two older model revolver handguns, and requested two types of narcotics. A
check of inventory indicates that the suspect obtained over 4000 Hydrocodone
pills, according to police.
The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male, age 40-50, between 5'9" and 6" tall, stocky, wearing all camouflage clothing.
Officers and investigators are in the initial phase of the investigation.
