Vermont State Police looking for missing 17-year-old female

CHITTENDEN, Vt. – The Vermont State Police are asking the public for help in finding 17-year-old Mary Brouillard.

Brouillard, of 7 Lazy Acres Road  in the Rutland County town of Chittenden, was reported missing from her residence Monday. Those who reported her missing told police she received a ride from a male friend and was expected to return by 5 p.m. that evening.

Brouillard is described as 5'2", medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was believed to have been wearing a blue tank top and jean shorts. Although her exact footwear was not known, it was believed she would either be wearing flip flops or brightly colored sneakers.

During the initial stages of the investigation, information was received that she was seen in the areas of Middlebury and Leicester. Authorities say this is also the area in which her biological family and her boyfriend are reported to live.
