Marchione says robo calls on casino gambling not from her office

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Senator Kathleen Marchione (R,C–Halfmoon) has issued a statement addressing possible robo calls claiming to come from her office.

In her statement she reveals her office received calls inquiring if they had sent out automated calls regarding casino gaming asking whether individuals support or oppose the issue. She said her office is not sending out the calls, and that they are presently trying to find the source of the calls and are in the process of reporting them to State Attorney General's Office.

"If a constituent in the 43rd Senate District does receive such a robo call, I ask them to please contact my office at 455-2381, or e-mail me at marchione@nysenate.gov so we may compile a complete record for the Attorney General to help stop these annoying robo calls. Thank you," Marchione said in a statement.
