TROY, N.Y. – Troy police are looking for a stabbing suspect after an altercation on Jacob Street Tuesday.
Captain John Cooney said officers responded to call for two males involved in altercation on Jacob Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. When they arrived on scene they discovered one man with profusely bleeding wounds to the upper chest.
Police said the suspect fled the scene.
The victim was uncooperative with officers, and force was needed to get the victim medical attention.
He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he is in stable condition with non-life threatening wounds.
Detectives are investigating the case and hope to make a quick arrest.
