EPHRATAH, N.Y. -- The body of missing plane crash victim Frank Amerosa was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the Town of Ephratah, the Fulton County Sheriff's Office says.

The identification was made following an autopsy examination Thursday morning by a Fulton County Coroner.

Officials did not release details of the discovery - where or how the body was found.

All three people aboard the May 24th Angel flight that crashed in Fulton County were killed. The bodies of the pilot 70-year-old John Campbell and Frank Amerosa's wife, 58-year-old Evelyn Amerosa, were located shortly after the crash.

The National Transportation Safety Board says the Angel flight took off as planned that day. But an hour after take-off, the plane veered off course and started to lose elevation. NTSB officials are calling it an in-flight "break up," and say the crash left a mile long path of debris in Ephratah.

Angel flights provide transportation for medical patients in need of care at facilities away from home.
