Person who tossed dog from NY truck being sought

NEWBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - Animal welfare officials in the Hudson Valley are seeking the public's help in finding the person who tossed a dog from a moving vehicle last week.
Ann Marie Gaudio, , president of the Hudson Valley Humane Society in Pomona, tells the Times Herald-Record of Middletown that a woman reported seeing a dog get thrown out the window of a flat-bed truck around 3:30 p.m. on June 3 on Powell Avenue in Newburgh.
The dog ran after the car, but couldn't catch up.
The dog wasn't injured. He's a neutered male weighing about 35 pounds, with a wiry, white-and-tan coat. Anyone with any information is asked to call the animal shelter at 845-354-3124 or send an email to the group at reportcruelty(at)
