Police: Therapist sexually touched client


NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - New York State Police say a therapist out of North Salem forcibly touched a teenage woman who was seeing him for therapy.

Police say the 19-year-old woman accused 57-year-old Mark Bernardini, of 955 Peach Lake Road, of forcibly touching while she was receiving therapy during May 2013.

Bernardini is employed as a therapist and works out of his home in North Salem, NY, and also works out of an office located in Bronxville, NY. Police say the allegations occurred at the North Salem location.

He has been charged with Forcible Touching, a misdemeanor, and issued an appearance ticket.
