COLONIE, N.Y. - A Delmar man has been arrested for his involvement in the armed robbery at the X Change Cash & Trade, while two other suspects remain at large.
The Colonie Police Department says 47-year-old Eric Taylor has been arrested in connection to the incident police say happened just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Central Avenue store.
Police say at that time three black male suspects entered the store and one displayed a handgun, tied up the employee and then stole the cash from the register and gold jewelry. The suspects then fled north on foot up Osborne Road.
Taylor has been charged with Robbery 1st and 2nd, two counts of Assault 2nd, Criminal use of a firearm, Grand Larceny 3rd, Resisting Arrest and Unlawful Imprisonment. He has been remanded to Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
