Police: No arrests made in stabbing of 12-year-old
TROY, N.Y. -- A 12-year-old boy was left seriously injured Wednesday when he was stabbed by an unknown assailant.
Police said that at approximately 4:45 p.m. they responded to Fourth Street between Congress and State streets for the report of a stabbing. When city police arrived on the scene, they found the victim inside his residence at 115 Fourth Street with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Troy EMS transported him to Albany Medical Center.
As of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, authorities had made no arrests and had no information on the suspect's description for release.
Captain John Cooney of the Troy Police Department said an update would be issued Thursday morning.
