BROADALBIN, N.Y. - State Police and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office continue their search Tueasday at Great Sacandaga Lake near the Broadalbin Boat Launch for two men who went fishing on Saturday and failed to return home.

The Sheriff's Office says 51-year-old Mark Richards and 24-year-old Brent Richards, both from Broadalbin, parked their car in the area of Macvean Road, off Lakeview Road in the town of Broadalbin, on Saturday morning and launched their small boat.

They were reported missing to the Sheriff's Office on Sunday night after they failed to come home. Their car was found located on Macvean Road and Investigators and did find some of their fishing gear on the shoreline.

Law enforcement conducted an underwater search with sonar until dusk on Monday.

"We so have a very large area here and we don't know their last spot.  There was some equipment brought to the shore by the current so that is why we are focusing here now," said Fulton County Undersheriff Kevin Lenahan.
