UPDATE -- The New York Lottery said Tuesday that Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot has once again increased, now to $360 million, just $5 million shy of the second highest jackpot in Powerball history.
Tickets can be purchased until 9 p.m. on the date of the drawing.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The New York Lottery says the jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing has been increased to $350 million.
The $80 million jump from Saturday's advertised $270 million jackpot is due to brisk sales across all participating Powerball states.
The largest Powerball jackpot to date was $587.5 million, won in Arizona and Missouri in November 2012.
If no one matches all five numbers plus the Powerball in Wednesday night's drawing, the jackpot will continue to grow.
