SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Schenectady Police Department has arrested a Clifton Park man for an incident which happened near Schenectady High School on Tuesday morning.
Police say around 8:15 a.m. near the high school, sever students yelled at a motorist - identified as 52-year-old Ulysses Wynn - who was driving in an "erratic manner." Police say Wynn exited his vehicle and approached a student, asking if she made statements toward him.
Wynn then allegedly slapped the student in the face, grabbed her by the throat and pushed her toward a moving bus. A second student then came to the aid of the victim and was able to remove Wynn from her.
Wynn then fled the scene in his vehicle and was arrested a short time later in Clifton Park by members of the New York State Police.
He has been charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd-degree, and two counts of Harassment 2nd-degree.
There were no reported injuries to either the victim or the second student who intervened.
